Macc H. Plaise was born June 21, 1970 in Haiti, to Onine, a single mom. He was introduced to film at the age of 8, by his first cousin "Muscadin Jean Yves Jason"; the former Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After learning that movies are fictional stories played by actors, the actor/filmmaker bug bit him. From Haiti to Brooklyn, NY, he would go on to graduate from Erasmus Hall high school. He later enrolled at La Guardia Community College then Marymount Manhattan College to study theater. During which time, he acted in plays at the school's black box. He left MMM College after two years for an independent (paid) acting role and never looked back.
